Over the past 12 months this rhythmic, cardio jam session has been gaining popularity with gyms and participants around the world and it may just be the change you’re looking for in 2017.

All you need to get started in a POUND® is a set of Ripstix®; a pair of neon green drumsticks that have been designed specifically to enhance the effects of the class. This rocker workout is designed for all fitness levels and uses simple moves that combine cardio, strength and mobility training inspired by Pilates and yoga.

Classes usually last 45 minutes and contain upwards of 30 interval peaks and over more than 70 moves and techniques; sure to provide a challenge for those who want to go there.

POUND® differentiate themselves by saying “Instead of listening to music, you become the music”. The class is delivered as a pre-choreographed program and instructors who are certified get access to 3-4 new track each month to keep things fresh.
